Interesting session today on Marketing: Brand Extension! How companies have been leveraging on strong equity of brands was revealed to us. The four principles: Relevance, recognition, Credibility & Transferability form the core of the Brand Extension. It was heartening to see my colleagues picking such diverse brands like MDH, RUPA, FASTTRACK & COLGATE. My team chose to work on LUX. We did a fantastic job as a team in identifying which areas to extend our Brand to. I really liked the session overall. It was quite informative and at the same time helped us understand by implementing. hanks to Professor Bhattacharya and guest faculty today!
